At St Joseph’s we believe that wellbeing is of the utmost importance to a child’s learning and development.
STUDENT HEALTH
Students who are unwell should not attend school. Children with infectious diseases must be excluded for specified times and parents are asked to inform the school immediately. Click below to view the Recommended Exclusion Periods, produced by the Queensland Department of Health.
BEHAVIOUR & SCHOOL RULES
CONDUCT
We encourage our students to be ambassadors of the school and of their families at all times and to treat others as they would like to be treated themselves.
SCHOOL RULES
The school rules at St Joseph's are modeled on our values and the actions of Jesus. We use the Responsible Thinking Program (RTP). Our behavior management policy aims to help students take responsibility for their learning. Teachers follow a questioning process which allows the students time to reflect and process information.
